Analysts at Nomura offered their model projection for today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 124 pips higher than the previous fix (6.6392 from 6.6268) and 60 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.6332. The basket implied change is 70 pips higher than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.6402 from 6.6332)."
