LME Inventory Update

FXStreet (Mumbai) - The warehouse stocks data released daily by the London Metal Exchange (LME) showed a drop in the inventory levels of most base metals viz. Copper, Zinc, Lead and Aluminium. While, Nickel inventories witnessed a built-up.

Copper stocks decreased by 250 tonnes. While stock levels of lead and zinc deducted 3625 tonnes and 3025 tonnes respectively. Aluminium stocks witnessed a massive drawdown of 7100 tonnes. By contrast, Nickel inventories added 654 tonnes.

GBP/USD bounces-off 1.47

GBP/USD extends its downslide in the mid-European session, retracing from fresh session lows reached just ahead of 1.47 handle, largely on renewed demand for the greenback after weaker Chinese macro numbers.
